Too Hot Summer...

Hello everyone,

The last time, I couldn't climb very much. The most time I was bouldering on my free days at the Motel/Murgtal at the very early morning. At the Murgtal I couldn't tell you some new things. Oh well, I could climb the boulder Ommadawn-sit at the Steinbrächer-sector. It has some very nice holds, which are finely ground of the water.

Deep cold forest after dynoing

At the Motel I could climb 2 new Problems. One is called "Cold Forest", the other "Deep Cold Forest" which is a deeper version of "Cold Forest".
The boulders are both traverses on crimps and slopers. The "Cold Forest"-boulder has a nice movement, that I hadn't climb, yet. The deep version of it has a big dyno from a ledge left and a crimp right. (you can see me on the picture holding the hold with the right hand after the dyno). The deep version is a bit harder than the "normal" way. The normal way is something around 7A/+ and the deep version I think is around 7B+, maybe if it's not so hot, it could be easier...

Yesterday I was at the "Schattental"-Sector at Chironico with the hope it's not too hot there. Wrong, it was very hot... I nearly could climb "powerstrips" but my hand slipped off a little crimp there... Otherwise, we climbed a few easy things. At the later afternoon, we then went to the river and took a bath in it.

Hello everyone,

I'm at Mallorca - cala millor right now with my girlfriend.
Yesterday, we found a bouldering spot under a cave near our hotel. today we get there at the evening for some bouldering and establishing new lines. the rock there is really really sharp, but it's nice for the grip.
I had to improvise, because I have no bouldering pad here. Now I took a air-mat and the towels^^ Not really nice for my brain but it's better than nothing! ;)

This evening we was at Murgtal, to boulder a little bit. The weather was not that good, it was raining, but we were at the "Sojus"-Boulder, this one was dry, finally.
When I speak of  "we", I mean Dani and me ;)
We had there a funny evening at Sojus - 7C+.

Hello Everybody :D

Yesterday, was also my birthday, and I went to bouler a bit in Murgtal. First stop was the overhang, where my friend Dani has his project, there I warmed up. Dani was also there with me and gave the boulder some go's. Unfortunately, it began to rain, and we had to go to my FA-Project, where I really wanted to give some tries and test some things I thought about.
It went really good, I could do all the moves from the start. At the moment, I have no solution how to topout the boulder, it's really hard on the top with mini crimpers and no good position to get in. This boulder is really the hardest thing I've ever tried. I think I know a solution that would be good, but yesterday, I hadn't more power to test it. I think I'm getting closer every time when I'm at the project.
After a few tries, we went to the under sector. There was a project of Dani, that he still hadn't climbed. It's name is "New kids on the block" and is rated 7A+. Unfortunately, he couldn't do it, but we did other nice unnamed boulders next to his project, and had a lot of fun :)
Then we realised that it was 21:30 and it was dark :D

conclusion: really nice birthday with some hard moves and a lot of fun!

Chironico again!

Hello everybody,
How was your weekend?
Mine was perfect! At Saturday my friend Mischa and me went to Chrionico. Our Ticklist for today: Le Flipper(7B) and Selection Door(7A). After a little warmup and a hot tea, we went to "Le Fipper". I thought I just gonna try this boulder a few times and then go to "Selection Door" and give full throttle there.
Back to "Le Flipper", we arrived and placed our 3 Crashpads, we got with us. The moves until the dyno felt really good, in every try I could do it. The Dyno is very hard when you're gonna do it with only one hand dynamically to the top. Last time here, my friend did it with a double hand dyno. My thought was to do it same. I came closer every jump, but when I had the handle, I didn't knuckle it down. We made a little break, and eaten something. Then back to the boulder, sit down, startholds under my fingers, I said to myself: "You can do it", first move, easy, right to the sidehold, easy, left up, right up, left up, and again right up to a crimper, and I jumped. My left hand had the finish hold, I screamed with joy, and did the topout, full of happy feelings. For Mischa it shouldn't be today, he unfortunately couldn't do it.
Now we're at "Selection Door". I was a little bit tired because of the many tries of "Le Flipper" and I couldn't hold the scale again, like the last time I was here. We gave it a few tries, but then we had to say that it is to hard, and when we try it further, we couldn't do anything else, after.
One boulder, I had in my head, that i want to try. "Autopilot" it is called, and well known, a roof, with crimpers. Last time I was there, it felt really impossible for me. This time, it felt so good, first move very statically, with a hook left, then right hook and to the ledge. The move to the ledge I unfortunately couldn't do. Mischa either.
Now it is already half past 6 and Mischa had to go, and I was tired, too.
The day was great success for me, and we now have a project more for the next time :D

Thanks to Mischa, I have to say also, it was a super day!
